@stmas Starting from Leopard 10.5.4 or 10.5.5 I believe Mac had support Sony Ericsson M600 for dialup by choosing “Sony Ericsson” as vendor and “GPRS (GSM/3G)” as model.

if you want to stick with modem script, use the second one worked for me.

Please make sure you use correct APN and username

Dear Ali,

I took and extract the SE 3G script from taniwha. In the way, i noted that there’re 4 scripts.
D’you had the same experience ?, and which is functioning ?
see, i used SE k630i & AXIS, yet connection to internet couldn’t be established (intend to doin’ it through bluetooth).

First you have to make sure that pairing has been done.
1. Do pairing using bluetooth (Set Up Bluetooth Device.. and follow the procedure, until you find the choose Username to dial)
2. Enter the username and password for dial-up, then select for Modem Script “Ericsson T39 28.8? (just for dummy)

then follow step I mentioned above (from Setup PPP)

Hi,

I’m very interested in geting this to work. I followed the instructions but got two errors:

1. Internet Connect

Could not open the communication device.

Followed by:

2. A Bluetooth serial failure has occurred

Failed to open an RFCOMM serial channel.
Check if authentication needs to be enabled in your device.

Any ideas what is going wrong? Any help would be gratefully received.

Please be more specific about issue you found. Was it because “no modem detected” , “no carrier detected” or the connection couldn’t be established (after connection status always disconnected).

I’m planning to create a more comprehensive documenation in near future in this blog. I’ll notify you later.

Try using Modem Script T39 14.4 if the program still persists.

You can also try to find a suitable modem script in this page http://www.taniwha.org.uk/
