This was a good post… That is my 1st visit to this site. Thanks for sharing this. I should revisit this website. I was a boat repairman for five years. My restore tip of your 12 months is this: Do not try a extremely hard fixer your self. Which will cost you extra cash inside the finish. Thanks again…

I can confirm the experience from the poster above.
I am now from the start with smart and they are chopping the speed of to a 10% of what they promise on certain times. As all providers do in Indonesia they sign up more customers then they can handle.
I already complain with them for more then one year and they keep telling me the problem is fixed but nothing has being done.
The ultimate packet is really a joke since nobody ever reach that kind of speed.
Since we are depending on the internet and they all give crap fair use limits and they all have connection problems, smart is still the most good from all the worse. Same with the government company's.
Building home's for their staff for 1.6 Trillion IDR but the customers from PLN for example can take al the crap with the electric power down all the time. If you complain there they tell yo they don't have money for repair good. what a joke.
Maybe it is getting time to say goodbye to Indonesia.

I use Smart now for just over 100 days and living in Denpasar Selatan Bali. I made a very good start with Smart I was happy as a little child to see finally a provider with cheap unlimited Internet ad a good speed... But living 15 years in Indonesia I should have known providers give you the full speed to warm you up and to drop bandwidth after a while... Besides I had to know with Smart becoming so popular and thus many users with the same thought Smart can't cope with giving the bandwidth they promise! Early morning I'm on and have a decent speed at home however the closer I come to mid-day 12pm the slower my connection gets and it will drop from a good EVDO-A signel to a EVDO-1X signal and basically not able anymore to get a simple web page on my screen! I tried to complain with Smart however their service center is even more worse as all the others like Telkom/XL/Indosat etc. They just hang up on you if their not able to answer your questions or you have to wait a full 3 months to get an email reply (why they have an email costomer service address???) telling me to call the service center and not to email them!!! Smart is not that Smart after all and indeed delivering the same bad experience as all the others. See if I go to Singapore using any 3.5G service I get 3.5G service 24/7 and not just one hour a day. Smart is cheating on people I better get back to (Slowly)Speedy to have at least some decent connection... If I only knew how to reach out to the top senior manager of Smart... Let's hope they read this blog!
