Where to book European Hotels?

When it comes to sleeping matter, you have to choose hotel carefully. Comparing price is not enough, better to compare location and hotel facilities. Knowing of hotel neighbourhood will avoid you sleeping in suburbs or red-light district area.

Read some articles and hotel reviews written by EuroCheapo ( www.EuroCheapo.com ) as I found they were useful. Then search and book hotel room from these sites (see London Section for bargain):

• www.venere.com - Venere, in my opinion, has always give cheapest room rate, especially in Italy and France. Don't forget to read each hotel reviewed by actual guests and its score.
• www.booking.com - sometimes Booking has alternative hotels not offered by Venere
• www.hotelclub.net
• www.ibishotel.com - if you prefer staying at 3 star hotel, check Ibis Hotels in many European Cities.
• Holiday Inn Express
  
  • Express brand in HolidayInn hotel chain means a bargain.

As everything is so expensive in London, it is hard to find a cheap and good hotel in London. For ?50 you only get tiny room without private shower. But try to search Travelodge and EasyHotel Chain, since I found them offering surprising price:

• https://www.travelodge.co.uk/saver_search - try Travelodge 3-star hotel chain for London and UK Hotels. Using saver search and book a month in advance will give you super cheap room as low as ?29 per night. Hotel location may not be convenience (read: far from tube station) but you get a good sleep and comfort. See my photo below taken from Travelodge King's Cross Royal Scott, got saver price (I booked separately 2 nights: ?29 and ?49)
• http://www.easyhotel.com/ - EasyHotel offers shocking price similar to its EasyJet flight fare. Price was said started from ?25!

For my 4 night stay in London, I stayed one night in Jubilee Hotel, 2 night in Travelodge King's Cross Royal Scott, and Ibis Luton in the last night.
